So, let’s see how you can make a deco mesh wreath for any season and grab everyone’s attention.

Supplies You Need:

  • 3-4 rolls of 21-inch x 10 yards deco mesh
  • Wire wreath form
  • Pipe cleaner
  • Other wired ribbons

Instructions to Follow:

Step 1 – Cut Your Deco Mesh Pieces

Begin with a 12-inch wreath frame for a medium or large-size door. It might look small at first, but the mesh fills it up quickly. You can even take a 16-inch frame and it is huge enough.

Cut strips of a deco mesh about 18 inches long. They will naturally curl up and if it cuts from the start of the roll, you might have to roll it a bit tighter.

Step 2 – Twist and Tie Pipe Cleaners

Take a half piece of pipe cleaner, pinch the middle of the curls, and tightly twist it around the middle of the deco mesh. You will need two pieces of pipe cleaner sticking out to attach the wreath.

Step 3 – Attach Bunches to Wreath Frame

You will want 15-20 of each color attached to the wreath frame if you’re using 3-4 deco mesh colors. As you attach more and more pieces, they will fill in and start to look fuller and more voluminous. Just keep going until you fill the entire wreath frame. If you have a couple of rolls of mesh left over, use it to achieve a much fuller wreath.

Step 4 – Tuck Different Pieces of Wired Ribbons into Wreath

Take a few random pieces of ribbon and use the same concept again. Wind a piece of pipe cleaner tightly around the middle of the piece of ribbon and attach it to the wreath. It gives you a funky, interesting look that you will truly be proud of.

The Final Result

The final deco mesh wreath has an adorable and whimsical look and feel. You can use different colors that match your occasion, mood, and personality. A fall-themed, Valentine’s Day or Christmas wreath can also be created with the same technique. You can even tuck holiday-themed elements into the wreath, such as ornaments or fall foliage.

Hopefully, you will love the cute deco mesh wreath as much as we do. And don’t forget to check out our massive deco mesh collection at BBCrafts and create exciting décor and craft projects.
